Church is such an important part of our walk with Christ. Jesus called us to be in fellowship with other believers and help each other in times of need. Church is where we can be held accountable, find healing, receive help, and feel safe, but we have to attend to reap these benefits. It can be so easy to find excuses not to join in on Sunday morning worship: we’re tired, the calendar is full, we don’t need another commitment, “I don’t belong because you don’t know what I’ve done.” No matter what you are going through, the answer is Jesus. Jesus restores our soul, tends to our wounds, forgives us for all we’ve done, and longs to guide us into a full and abundant life. All it takes is the first step, crossing the threshold of the church and opening ourselves up to the healing power of Christ.
This month’s All In video was so much fun to work on because we got to hear from multiple members why it’s so important to be present in church. Their answers vary but all ring true. We love having them (and you!) as part of our Central family!
This Month’s Challenge:
Consider attending our Midweek Meditation offered each Wednesday at 12:05pm in the Wesley Chapel. Or, join a bible study or Sunday school class this fall.
Social Media Engagement:
Using #allincentral, share on social media why it’s important to be present in church or share a selfie of yourself at church!
