Fall is quite easily my favorite season. The heat of summer is slowly subsiding, families are returning from vacations to the hustle and bustle of ‘normal life’, and most importantly, the students are back!
In student ministry summers can be tough. The heat kicks in, everyone disappears seemingly without a trace, and there you are; left questioning the impact and relationships you spent precious time building throughout the previous year. Then the students return, and you discover they missed you almost as much as you’ve missed them and all is well with the world.
The summers may be tough, but they are also exciting. Summers here at CSM are spent debriefing, planning, deliberating, critiquing, and even more planning, all in preparation for the coming fall semester.
We are incredibly excited for what’s coming this fall, and we are incredibly honored to get the chance to impact students throughout our community.
Here are some things coming up for both CSM Senior High, and CSM Junior High. To make sure you stay up to date on all of our events check out our website centraltolife.com/students and our social medias:

CSM Senior High (9th-12th)
Small Group Kickoff: August 30th
Small groups are a big part of CSM Senior high. Because life isn’t meant to be lived alone, we want to help students partner with other believers to help encourage their walks with Christ. Small groups are divided by gender and grade and will kickoff on August 30th.
Fall Retreat 2015: September 11-13
Fall retreat is a high-energy weekend at New Life Ranch, filled with incredible worship, some crazy games, fun with your friends, and some time in the Word uncovering the big dreams God has planned for each and every one of our lives. The cost is $120, which covers travel, lodging, meals, and a shirt.
CSM Jr. High (7th and 8th)
We are extremely excited to launch the new CSM junior high format. We will be kicking things off Sunday, September 13th at the Genesis campus. This will be a weekly meeting from 5:30-7:30pm; and a great chance for students to hang out with their friends; engage in worship together; and learn more about the great God we get to serve. It’s going to be awesome!
